Brewed and Briefed is a 7-session series event led by Jones Day, a premier international law firm. These sessions are semi-private with our primary audience being startups, founders, and entrepreneurs. This exclusive series is designed to help early-stage life sciences and medtech companies tackle the critical topics needed for success. 

Each session will be led by Jones Day's Bill Zawrotny, Partner, and Katie Vest, Associate, whose expertise spans mergers and acquisitions, complex cross-border transactions, and investment deals. SESSION 4: CONTRACTING BASICS FOR GO-TO-MARKET STRATEGY

• Types of contract structures to consider based on your product or service and overall model (Service Agreements, Terms and Conditions, Business Associate Agreements, Master Service Agreements and corresponding Purchase Orders)
• Negotiable versus non-negotiable provisions in those agreements
• Managing the contracting processes and tracking deviations from standard terms
• Overview of “boilerplate” provisions
